Pumpkin Patch 2012

It was the first time that we went to the Pumpkin Patch in Moss Bluff - not being a resident of that wonderful little community.
I don't know why I have expectations each year that my child will actually want to be still for pictures.  The pumpkin patch she loves.  Pictures, not so much.
It's such drudgery for her.
She's got this head tilt thing going on that I'm having a hard time correcting.

We've been doing the Pumpkin Patch with Nate since he was born.
One day I'll collage all those pictures throughout the years.  One day.
 Beautiful child of God.

These two are so cute together.

Two Peas

We went to the McNeese Football game this past weekend and met up with a friend and her sweet little cousin.  We planned a playdate for these two and met up today for a tea party and playdate.  These two are definitely cut from the same cloth!
Jayda is a year younger than Gianna but has got all the sass, personality, and social skills that G has.  It was hilarious to witness the similarities.

My friend, Brenda, had the most amazing Chinese tea table for the girls to sit around.
Pretty, isn't it?
Sweet sips by Jayda...
And Gianna...
Gianna was happy to serve everyone tea, freshly stirred - either with a beautiful silver spoon, or her finger. Yummmm.
And what's the perfect end to a lovely tea party?  Why, a visit to the chickens, of course!

And picking fruit off the satsuma tree --- and eating right there...
Can you just eat this little cherub up?
We were amazed that these two strong little personalities got along so swimmingly!

The both ooze personality!

Pony Party

Gianna went to her first birthday party of a friend from school.
They had it at the LeBocage Stables and it was a very sweet, very impressive party.
The kids in Gianna's class were all invited. Six of them came (half).  Even their teacher, Ms. Lisa, came.
It was nice to finally put some faces to the names.
And what were these munchkins most excited about?
Running free, of course.
 And playing in the sand...
 How cute are they?
They staff was incredible and explained everything so well to the kids.
The sweet birthday girl was a bit tentative on her first ride....
She got the hang of it before long.
 Sweet little Nacey.
 Peyton was a champ.
How cute are they in the riding helmets?
Looks like a pro, doesn't she?
They always came back to the sand....
 Gianna and Baylee.
There was Pin the Tail on the Pony, of course.
 She got pretty close.
And then there was a Find the Prizes in the Hay game...
Gianna turned into a lunatic during this game.
The little turkey stopped once she found a Blow Pop.
:)
 These kids were so beautiful.
I couldn't stop staring at them.

What a fun time.
