We decided to get together with Gianna's godmother this weekend.
Gianna thought she'd call her Nanny Jeanne (in the world of make believe) to tell her we were coming...
We played in Nanny's backyard for a little while.
Gianna loved playing with their big dog, Josh.
She got the biggest kick out of trying to catch Josh's tail...
...and even coaxed him into his kennel.
(Josh is a really good sport!)
Nanny showed Gianna all of her wind chimes.
Oh my! What a glorious sound.
I must try this myself!
Nanny showed Gianna her beautiful roses.
...and even picked one to give to Mommy.

There was even time for a little piano concert.
She takes it very seriously.
Nanny helped her get it just right.
